Homework Expectations. There will be spelling homework Monday through Thursday and a spelling test on Friday. When homework is given in addition to spelling work, it is due the very next day when they walk through the door.Spelling Homework is assigned for every school night (Monday through Friday). Students can choose one activity from this list to practice their spelling words. A new spelling list will be assigned every week. Any of these activities may be used with all spelling lists. 1. Tongue twisters Alliterative Phrases or Sentences.This spelling contract is great tool for homework, word work activities, or just extra practice with spelling. Children need to know that their parents think homework is important. It is a great way for you to see what we are doing in school on a daily basis, and check your child's level of understanding. If children know their parents care, they will have a good reason to complete assignments and turn them in on time. There is a lot that you can do to show that you value education and homework.
